Keep in mind that there will be chair rail and white paint added to this half painted wall:)
How far along?: 28 wks 5 days (September 13, 2012)
Total weight loss/gain: 21 lbs!
Maternity clothes?: Most definitely! Along with comfy clothes when I am home. Thankfully, no maternity scrubs yet!
Stretch marks?: Not yet, hopefully not ever!:)
Best moment this week?: We found the perfect rocker for the nursery! One of my best friends was in town from Chicago and we enjoyed a little thrifting 🙂 We found this gem at a consignment shop in the area, listed at only 80 bucks! After further examination, the hubs and I are pretty sure that it was reupholstered fairly recently. Not only is it beautiful it’s incredibly comfortable!! A big thank you to my mama for buying it for us!
Miss anything?: Still miss not having to use the bathroom every 15 minutes!
Movement?: This baby is constantly moving!
Sleep: Frequent bathroom breaks tend to make 8 hours of sleep feel like a lot less! Recently I have been waking up around 7 am (when I haven’t worked the night before) with my mind racing about all of the things that I need to get done before Greyson’s arrival! This must be the beginning of the nesting:)
Energy level: Around an 8 out of 10 this week, sometimes 7. The lack of solid sleep seems to be the culprit of lower energy levels. I’m thankful that it is not akin to the pregnancy exhaustion of the first trimester.
Cravings?: Pizza Hut and McDonald’s chocolate shakes. Healthy, right?! Can’t seem to get enough of either:)
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nothing this week!
Wedding ring on or off?: On!
Belly button in or out?: Still in!
Happy or moody most of the time?: Happy days, these have been:) So looking forward to the arrival of our little one! We are taking advantage of this last 11 weeks where our family is just the two of us. I am thankful for his leading in praying together and spending time in the Word. I am certain that my “happy” days can be attributed to our growing unity in marriage and our relationship with the Lord. When I do have a “moody” moment, I am “[taking] captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5, NIV)
Any changes this week?: Greyson has been getting the hiccups! Pretty sure that it is the cutest thing ever! Never imagined that my heart would be filled with such love and joy from someone having the hiccups:)
What are you looking forward to?: My parents and maternal grandparents are coming down in two weeks for a visit and a wonderful friend is throwing me a shower! I can’t wait to spend time with my family!
Hi! I’m Jenne! Saved by the sheer unmerited grace of God; wife to Mark; Mama to Greyson and Henley; aficionado of all things creative. Grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) and settle in. I’m sure there is something here for you!
