Hey there, I’m Jenne! (It’s pronounced “Jenny”;)
I’m so glad that you have found my little corner of the internet! If you have visited before, I’m sure you will notice that this space has undergone a major renovation! And I may or may not have taken a year off (insert teeth bearing emoji). (Yes, I am a millennial and struggle to communicate without emojis.) Anyway, although my hiatus was somewhat circumstantial, it was also a time to reflect on what my goals with this space are. This blog has always been a personal blog, and my desire is for it to remain so. You can keep up with us by checking out my new series titled Life Lately. I also want this to be a space where I explore and share my many other interests. I’ve been asking myself, how can I possibly write about everything I’m interested in? How will it mesh together? Who will my readership be? Lets be real though. Most of my readers currently are my friends and family and if you’ve clicked over here, I’ll assume you are interested. If you are new, welcome! I am sure you will find that there is something for everyone!
I am Mama to THE cutest little boys (in my humble, unbiased opinion.) Tell me you don’t agree?! Okay, don’t. My mama-heart can’t handle it. Greyson is 5 and Henley is almost 3.
My husband Mark works at the local community college, for some crazy reason loves me, and (likely for the same crazy reason) has resigned his life to that of an instagram husband. If you haven’t seen the hilarious video to which I am referring, click here.
Our life together centers around our belief that God is holy and in order for us (in our sinful state) to be reconciled to Him thereby avoiding an eternity separated from Him, we need a Savior. That Savior is Jesus Christ and we are justified through His life, death, burial and resurrection! This is such good news!
Babes, blue houses, health & fitness, God, braids, all things HGTV, DIY projects, home decor food, Pinterest, reading, snapchat, This Old House, and attempting organization (something that typically alludes me).
So grab a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine (you do you!) and have a seat! I hope that you find some inspiration on these pages! Side note: I like parenthesis, overusing exclamation points, and strongly believe that “?!” is a punctuation mark referring to something being both astounding/surprising and exciting at the same time. If that’s going to be a problem, sorry (not sorry).
